Weigh Feeder Belting

Weigh feeder belts are fabricated belts used in many material handling plants to measure bulk material going across the belt. Bi-State specializes in these fabricated belts. Designs vary from one feeder manufacturer to another. Some of the more common fabrication shown below.

We also provide replacement belts for: Stock Equipment, Ramsey, Thayer, MErrick, Tecweigh, Schenk, Milltronics, Harding Feeders & Howe Richardson.

Flanges/Sidewalls - Most feeder belts run flat. Flanges or sidewalls are used to keep material from overflowing. Shown are some of the more common styles. All styles are available in standard and high-temp compounds.

Splices - Belt ends can be joined using mechanical fasteners or vulcanized endless. Such factors as accuracy, durability, ease of change out, spillage and price play a roll in determining which style to be used.

Guides - To keep the belt from tracking side to side. A guide which fits into a groove in pulleys can be hot vulcanized on the bottom of the belt.

Base Conveyor Belts - Feeder belts normally use 2-ply 220 P.I.W. Conveyor belt. Bi-State always uses the finest quality belting available. Std. thickness (Top and Bottom) 1/8" x 1/16" , 1/8" x 3/32" , 3/32" x 3/32, 3/16" x 1/16". Std rubber compounds: RMA GR-2, Msha fire resistant, hi-temp 400°. Other belt specifications available upon request.
