TCC - High Temperature Conveyor Belting
A Bi-State Rubber Inc. Partner
Application
Belt types TCC are used for transportation of hot, abrasive materials, which are chemically inactive, such as cement clinker, blast furnace clinker, coke, limestone, sinter, slags, foundry sand, etc. with max. material temperature of 410°F.
The TCC cover resists momentary temperatures considerably higher than 410°F, and for isolated pieces peak temperatures of up to 752°F.
|
Construction and Properties
Belt programme with cut edges based on synthetic EP fabrics (polyester/polyamid).
Carcass
The EP carcass provides
• small elongation at highest working tension
• high impact resistance
• not susceptible to humidity and microorganisms
• high resistance against stress on the edges
Cover
The type TCC is a wear and heat resistant cover, which resists a high constant material temerature. Further, it resists momentary peak temperatures of up to 752°F for isolated pieces of material.
